Description
¾ Inch Supply Connector (19.0mm)
The ¾ inch connector is the “High-Flow” standard. In most modern homes, the main water line coming from the street is ¾”, and this size is maintained for the primary trunks of the plumbing to ensure multiple fixtures can run at once without a drop in pressure.
-
Description: A heavy-duty connector designed for maximum volumetric flow. The 19.0mm specification usually refers to the internal diameter of a high-flow hose or the nominal size of a Large-Bore connector.
-
Uses & Applications:
-
Whole-House Filtration: The standard inlet size for Big Blue (BB) housings and sediment backwash systems.
-
High-Volume Appliances: Water heaters, large washing machines, and commercial ice makers.
-
Main Line Feed: Connecting the main water supply to a manifold or distribution block.
-
-
Benefits:
-
Zero Bottleneck: Provides roughly 2.25 times the water capacity of a ½” pipe.
-
Pressure Stability: Minimizes the “shower shock” effect when someone else turns on a tap elsewhere in the house.
-
Industrial Strength: Built to handle higher flow velocities and pressures.
