Description

The 1812 / 2012 RO Membrane Housing is the global standard for residential water purification. These two numbers are often used interchangeably because most modern housings are “universal” and designed to fit both membrane sizes.

Standard 1812/2012 White RO Housing

Compatibility: 24 GPD to 150 GPD Membranes

This is the most common pressure vessel found in under-sink RO systems. It is engineered to hold a single spiral-wound membrane element.

• Description: A high-strength, injection-molded polypropylene housing. It features a ribbed screw-cap with a Double O-Ring seal to prevent leaks under the constant pressure of a home water line. It typically has three ports: one Inlet (Feed Water), one Permeate (Clean Water), and one Concentrate (Waste Water).

• Uses & Applications:

  • Standard Under-Sink RO: The core component of 5-stage or 6-stage home systems.

  • Aquarium/RODI Systems: Used to produce ultra-pure water for reef tanks.

  • Countertop RO Units: Compact water purifiers.

• 2012: Approximately 2.0″ diameter and 12″ long. (Typical for 100–150 GPD)
