Description
Canature 4272 Composite Pressure Vessel is a high-performance industrial-grade tank designed for large-scale water treatment. With a total volume of approximately 900 Liters, this vessel is the “big brother” of the domestic range, typically used in commercial filtration, demineralization, or softening plants.
Product Description
The 4272 designation refers to the tank’s dimensions: 42 inches in diameter and 72 inches in height. Manufactured by Canature, these vessels are constructed with a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) inner liner reinforced with high-performance fiberglass and epoxy resin.
Unlike the “Big Blue” housings we discussed earlier, this is a media tank. It is designed to be filled with bulk media (like Activated Carbon, Silica Sand, or Resin) and fitted with a top-mounted control valve (like a Fleck, Clack, or Runxin valve).
Key Features
-
Corrosion Resistant: 100% rust-proof, making it ideal for harsh environments or borehole water with high salt content.
-
Lightweight but Strong: Roughly 1/3 the weight of a comparable steel tank, but rated for high operating pressures.
-
NSF Certified: The inner liner is food-grade, ensuring it is safe for drinking water applications.
-
Large Capacity: Designed for high flow rates in hotels, apartment blocks, or small factories.
