Chlorinator Tablets (10 Tabs)

Description

A powerful bactericide and fungicide designed for disinfecting potable water in reservoirs, while also serving as an effective oxidizing agent in any water treatment system.

This solution eliminates slime build-up, harmful bacteria, waterborne pathogens, and viruses—helping ensure water safety and clarity.

Key Advantages:

  • Long Shelf Life: Stable formulation with a two-year shelf life when stored under proper conditions.

  • Residue-Free: Releases active ingredients gradually without leaving behind residues.

  • Simple Dosing Options: Compatible with cost-effective in-line or floating dosing systems for easy disinfection and oxidation.

  • Mineral Control: Helps oxidize and precipitate unwanted minerals like iron and manganese by increasing the water’s pH.

  • Residual Protection: Maintains a residual disinfectant concentration to safeguard the system downstream.

  • Deodorizing Power: At higher concentrations, it removes unpleasant odors and organic impurities that affect water color and clarity.

  • Ideal for Remote Use: Perfect for off-grid applications or smaller-scale systems where electricity is limited or cost-efficiency is essential.

  • How to Use

    1. Determine Dosage:

    • Routine Disinfection: Use at a concentration of 1–5 mg/L (ppm) depending on water quality and system volume.

    • Shock Treatment / Heavy Contamination: Increase dosage up to 10 mg/L (ppm).

    • Always refer to specific application guidelines or consult a water quality specialist for precise dosing.

    2. Application Methods:

    • Floating Dispenser: Place the product in a perforated floating device for slow, even release in reservoirs or storage tanks.

    • In-Line Dosing: Install an in-line dosing chamber on the pipe network for continuous water treatment as water flows through.

    • Manual Dosing: Dissolve the appropriate amount of product in clean water and pour directly into the reservoir or tank. Stir or circulate where possible.

    3. Contact Time:

    • Allow at least 30 minutes contact time before using the treated water to ensure effective disinfection and oxidation.

    4. Monitor Residual Levels:

    • Test water regularly to maintain a safe residual disinfectant concentration (typically 0.2–0.5 mg/L for potable water).

    • Avoid overdosing; excessive concentrations can cause taste, odor, or irritation.

    5. Safety Precautions:

    • Use gloves and eye protection when handling.

    • Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and incompatible substances.

    • Keep out of reach of children.
